Here are some behind the scenes photos of day 2 of filming. Above is Kamel performing a grind on the coping. Miles is capturing the trick with his Canon 600D with a fish eye lens attached, using this lens is conventional to skateboarding video. I am capturing a second angle using my Canon 70D and a telephoto lens. To add movement i was standing on a skateboard moving towards kamel. This creates a more cinematic and interesting shot.
The above photo was taken by Ceri-Beth showing miles and i Filming kamel performing a transfer to the next quarter pipe. This is a very popular and complex trick when skating a bowl. This time i am using the fisheye lens and miles the telephoto capturing two different angles of the trick. The telephoto allows the viewer to understand the setting from where he is coming from to where he is landing. The Fish eye is for more close up action amplifying the trick making it look higher there for more imporessive.
