My group consists of Miles, Ceri-beth and myself. For our project we are going to create a skateboarding documentary based on a local sponsored skateboarder named Kamel Zara. He is sponsored to skate in Qatar by DC shoes and Quiksilver, even though he is sponsored he makes little to nothing money from skating. The documentary is about the conflict of following his passion (skateboarding). Even though he wants to become a professional skateboarder life gets in the way. He is currently working for a engineering company making minimal pay and is fed up. Even though he wants to follow his dreams of skateboarding his parents want him to go down the route of engineering after he just graduated from college of north atlantic. The documentary will talk about skating in Qatar, positives and negatives from Kamel's opinion after living his whole life here even though he is from Palestine.
